Tech Cloud is a software development company in Bratislava, Slovakia. Besides Power Platform we build classic software: custom web application development, custom mobile app development for iOS and Android, and internal business systems. We choose the technology to fit the brief. When the job is forms, approvals and data inside Microsoft 365, Power Platform is often the fastest route. When it is a customer-facing app, a mobile app in the app stores or a system with its own behaviour, we write code.

Both routes have their place. Because we do both, we can advise without bias. A short guide:

How a custom software project runs

1. Initial analysis (workshop). We go through goals, users, existing systems and data, and agree the scope of the first version.
2. Design and a clickable prototype. You see and try the screens and flows before any programming starts.
3. Development in short iterations. Regular demos of the working app, so you can steer it during development, not only at the end.
4. Launch. Go-live in production and, for mobile apps, release in the App Store and Google Play.
5. Operations and support. The application stays up and running, with support under an agreed SLA (see managed IT, Microsoft 365 and Azure), if you want it.

What drives the price of custom software

We do not quote a price up front, because it depends on scope. The biggest drivers are:

• the scope of features,
• the number of platforms (web, iOS, Android),
• integrations with other systems,
• security and GDPR requirements,
• design,
• operations and support after launch.

You get an estimate after the initial analysis, once the scope is clear.
